To Mine is No Mind

While Australia is highly prosperous, compared to the slums of neighbouring Jakarta and Surabaya Indonesia, the price of this prosperity has been borne on the backs of tens of millions of People and billions of other Creatures, who suffer horribly due to MASSIVE ENVIRONMENTAL DESTRUCTION by greedy mining companies...

A prime example of this is the Giant SANTOS blunder at Sidoarjo, a region in East Java, just 23 km south of Surabaya, where billions of tonnes of mud are flowing from a SANTOS mining mistake.

It is estimated by some that in the scope of just 50 years, or about 2050 A.D., large areas of Surabaya, Indonesia's second largest city, will be covered in mud from the Sidoarjo rupture.

This is not good corporate enterprise and could provoke extreme inflammation.

It will earn all mining companies, and especially in Australia, the seething wrath of many a poor Indonesian and Papuan, who is living, and/or will be living, in extreme squalour due to Australia associated mining mistakes in nearby Indonesia and Papua.

Santos has Medco Energi as a willing partner in crime related to the Sidoarjo mud volcano.

1. MILLIONS of People and Animals to be displaced by the ever increasing Sidoarjo Sea of Mud
2. Their consistent failure to stop and dam the flow of mud
3. MASSIVE COMPENSATION due to all poor Indonesian People Plants and Animals to be affected by the Sidoarjo Mud Sea

NOMINESA cites the Santos sponsored Sidoarjo Sea of Mud as further proof that all greedy corporate mining in Australia, or related to Australia, be ended.

To continue such mining will invite the Wrath of Nature and Her many Citizens.
